Cedarwood oil

Steam Distillation: Cedarwood oil is extracted from the wood of cedar trees, such as the Atlas cedar (Cedrus atlantica) or the Himalayan cedar (Cedrus deodara). The wood undergoes steam distillation, where the steam carries the volatile compounds from the wood. The steam is then condensed, separating the essential oil from the water.
